A Chance For All
Learning Disability Rugby League (LDRL) is an inclusive, non-competitive variation of rugby league, specifically designed for individuals with learning disabilities. LDRL focuses on participation, enjoyment, and social inclusion, allowing players of all abilities to engage in the sport in a supportive environment. The emphasis is on teamwork, building confidence, and fostering a sense of community, with modified rules to ensure safety and enjoyment for everyone involved. LDRL offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with learning disabilities to develop their skills, stay active, and be part of the rugby league family.
We run running sessions for players every Fridayevening, 6 to 7pm down on the 3G pitch at Victoria Park.
LDRL is open to players of all levels of learning disabilities. Come on down and be part of our inclusive team.
The Warrington Wolves LDRL team continues to be a leader in promoting inclusivity in rugby league. Pioneering the development of LDRL in the UK, being one of the founding teams to promote inclusivity and participation in rugby league for individuals with learning disabilities. Building a strong and supportive community around the team, fostering personal growth, confidence, and social connections for players.
